Soviet Visor question

Im new to this forum and dont know to much on Soviet stuff (I collect more of German and modern militaria) but I do own some Russian/Soviet things, but what really got me here was my friend found this visor in her garage, She thinks it was her grandfathers, and im just curious on if its real and what division would of worn it. I personal have my doubts that its real just because it looks to clean and other simple things like that, but im no genius when it comes to Soviet stuff. So I hope you guys can help clarify. We wont be like disgruntled if its fake because it still looks sexy and is a cool cap, but it would just be cool if it was at least made pre-1990.

Welcome to the forum. Yes, it is a pre-1990 Soviet NCO (non-officer) hat.

I think it's officer's visor with wrong cocarde, and I think it's MVD troops officer.

I would tend to agree with Kommandir, that this is an officers cap with EM cocarde.

Could also be the other way round - EM/NCO with wrong cord.;) Anyway - Looks like VV MVD. Nice cap.

My feeling is that the cap is a bit too exclusive. The maker and his mark, the interior - it feels more of an officers cap.
