I was wondering if anyone knew under what conditions this particular badge was awarded and how many were awarded in total. It sure has a grand sounding title.

This badge has striking resemblance to Red Banner order.

Name: Hero of the Revolutionary Movement Breast Badge - 1917-1918.

Seller's description:
"Awarded to the most distinquished workers and peasants of the Russian Revolution of 1917. Very similar in design to Order of Red Banner of RSFSR, which was the main reason to stop it's manufacture.
Silver, white and red enamel, screwback.
Size: 41mm wide / 47mm long."

Does anyone have more info on this badge?
