The Soldier's Honour Order (전사영예훈장) was founded on the 25th June 1950 (the day the Korean War began) and has two classes. The first class is just above the National Flag Order 3rd Class in precedence and the second class is the lowest ranking screwback/pinback award. Although the original "Soviet Type" has a line to engrave a serial number I've not yet known of any to be numbered. The design features a combat ready Soldier within a wreath.

This Soldier's Honour Order 2nd Class Type 1 is a single piece constructed of silver.

Here is a Type 1 Soldier's Honour Order 2nd Class which has been converted to pinback. This type of conversion is common amongst screwback awards of the DPRK. It is as yet unknown if awards were actually issued like this or just converted by recipients.

Here is the Type 2. Like most of the DPRK awards that are awarded en masse it has a good number of variations.

Here are Variations 2 3 and 4. The main difference between them are the "arms" on the T shaped characters and the top character on the last cluster which looks like a 7.

I am on the fence about collecting DPRK awards. I feel like unless you are getting a Soviet, or maybe Czech-made example...the production quality is so, so.

What is a good price for a Type 1, 2d Class?
