Awarded to Private Mihail Ivanovich Zalipuhin on 3rd April 1945, but it didn't catch up to him until he was a Technical Lieutenant.

Nationality, Russian 6. Party Membership, Member VLKSM. 7. Participation in the Civil War, subsequent military activity in defence of the USSR and Patriotic War, Patriotic War from May 1943. 8. Had Which Wounds And Contusions in the Patriotic War, Not had. 9. Since What Time In Red Army, From February 1943. 10. Which Regional Military Commissariat Called, Barabinsk Regional Military Commissariat, Novosibirsk Oblast. 11. Has which awards (for which distinction), Not awarded In battle for the Soviet Homeland, Mechanic-Driver Private Zalipuhin has shown boldness and valour in the period of performing combat tasks 17th-21st March in the region of Nākotne-Miltiņi. Skilfully manoeuvring on the field of battle, a plain front area of defence with great speed burst to the settlement of Nākotne, driving to Miltiņi and going to the crossroads of the main road. For the time of battle the fire and the caterpillars of the tank destroyed; 1 heavy machinegun, up to 15 enemy soldiers. The caterpillars of the tank of Comrade Zalipuhin crushed two hand machineguns. Conclusion; For boldness and valour shown whilst performing combat tasks, worthy of the Governmental Award Order "Red Star". Commander of the 2nd Tank Battalion Guards Captain Sibrin 26th March 1945
