Re: Commander Ship badges real or fake

Another bingo round....

What do you think about this golden coloured submarime badge. It is made of brass.
It has a Moscow pobeda screwplate.
From which time period is this badge?

P.S. The green points are "glue and cloth", it was glued on a pice of cloth.

regards and thanks
Andreas

P.S. 2: Looks like the brass is golden plated.

Andreas,

These are not my cup of tea, but I like this one. Time for a little clean-up with acetone...

Re: Commander Ship badges real or fake

I am not an expert, but to me it looks OK. The problem is that the same factory had coined thousands of them for sale to collectrs, so they have become quite common.

Re: submarine commander badge

I saw that the question of Eric remained unanswered, with this I would like to take this opportunity to show you two of my badges.
I don't know if they are genuine, and maybe one isn't even Soviet, but Romanian or Hungarian.
I would like to know much your opinion.
Thank you very much. :)

Re: submarine commander badge

Marsino,

I am no expert in these badges. But how is the screw fixed.

If it is like in my picture, I think it is a fake.

best regards
Andreas

Re: Commander Ship badges real or fake

Either very late versions or collector's copies. Probably the later, but I'm no expert on these.

Re: Commander Ship badges real or fake

A very poor copy.

As a collector I would ask for more from a "collector's copy".
