Almost ready

With Alexei help , I'll be done with ALL awards after Thanksgiving. Will post pictures. Only one question i have: which belt to use? Admiral belt with dagger ( kortik ) or general belt with sword ( shashka ) ? I think, it should be admiral belt, but want to double check.

Last question: SHOULD I ADD RED COLLAR AND SLEEVES EMBROIDERY ON THIS UNIFORM? Like that:

I wouldn't...but it's not mine anymore.

I'm not sure how you would add that without having it look phoney, especially the bullion braid. Good looking edge piping I would think would be a challenge to add as well.

Red Piping

Red piping on naval uniforms was for naval infantry and other shore specialities. Shore personnel (including naval infantry) used army ranks, but wore naval uniforms. Anyone wearing red piping wore epaulets, but no sleeve rank. Additionally, navy shore generals wore traditional ground forces red generals stripes on their trousers as well -- seagoing admirals did not.

Academy badge

Noticed that it's an early-pattern higher military training college badge. An admiral would have already attended a military academy (white enamel badge) for senior-level military education, a requisite by the time he reached captain's rank.
