Naval infantry beret-a fake?

Hey guys,
I just received this beret for a soldier of naval infantry. What stroke me was its poor quality: There is absolutely no lining inside and no sign of any stamp, also there were many strings hanging around from the sews.
Are those already faked?

A real Soviet beret will usually have a very odd "flat top" shape unlike the NATO style berets which are "seasoned" (folded) to fit. Attached an image.

My guess is also post soviet, could be current russian or Ukrainian (or tourist) production....naval infantry still wears black berets in both countries I believe.
