Moreflot Officer Visor Cap?
hi folks,
i never liked this all black kinda Moreflot cap's. so i never included one in my collection. this weekend i stumbled upon a Moreflot cap witch was more of my like. it has a weird construction ! weird ribbon, and weird cord. how do you guy's think about this. i lac the knowledge to identify this one as authentic. and i don't know where to place this cap in rank order. nor i know about age, witch decade it was made. please put in your thots.:idea PS. do we have a Moreflot expert on the forum ?:confused: |

Nice cap! I had one in my collection back in the 1990's for a Flag rank officer...really a great looking style of caps.

ya i love the look of this particular one.
it has so much custom elements. ya the soviets had way more cap's than Germain's did. i guess Germain's would have liked to do the same but lacked the production capacity. so Doug, what can you tell me about this cap. i was told it is supposed to be for midrange (LT) officer because of the badge? |

It is mid-grade officer. So not a ship captain (those had a bit different badge and laurel leaves on visor), but also not an ordinary sailor (those had round, metal badge with an anchor and star on it).
