The World Academy of Sciences Integrated Security Council is an association of scientists to study and synthesis of science, promoting the development and implementation of the global world of science and education aimed at promoting peace between people and their security.
The Academy has branches in 65 regions of the Russian Federation and representation in the USA, China, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Bulgaria, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Mongolia, Korea, Poland, Israel, Australia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Greece, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova.
An open representative offices and branches in other countries in the world community.
The main purposes of the Academy are :
- exploring scientific issues of integrated security on a global scale : the economic, information, environmental, fire, industrial, energotehnicheskoy, technological, counter-terrorism, social and so on;
- pooling the wisdom of scientists and technicians in order to exchange experiences, the results of research, as well as to promote their professional and scientific improvement and development;
- interaction with the public authorities in the preparation of the necessary governmental and legislative measures aimed at strengthening and improving the comprehensive security of the peoples of all countries;
- participate in the formulation of state and local authorities in the manner and to the extent prescribed by the laws of Russia and the International Community;
- Collaborating with public and government agencies, both in Russia or abroad;
- support and practical assistance to developers of scientific projects in the development of new technologies and moving them to the Russian and foreign markets;
- Design and analysis of projects and programmes, research, experimental and other works on the activities of the Academy;
- Develop standard technical documentation, patenting research;

- Organizing conferences, workshops, roundtables, exhibitions;
- participation in the implementation of international, sectoral, regional and municipal programs;

Little more information I found.

Valid elected members of the Academy of many actual members of RAS, RANS, APBOP, MIA, RIA, MAEN, MAI EAI, and many international, European and Russian academies. In addition the actual members of the Academy elected as many members of the Federation Council, deputies of the State Duma, leaders of ministries and departments of the territorial executive and legislative bodies, local governments, scholars from universities, academies, and design institutes, corporations, companies, enterprises and organizations, as well as associations of foreign countries and representatives of companies.
