Medal "Participant In Liquidation Of Fires 2010".

Here is probably my favourite Russian Federation Medal, which I believe is only its second official campaign Medal (The first being for "March-Shot" issued by the Ministry Of Defence).

The Medal "Participant In Liquidation Of Fires 2010" was instituted in 2011 by the "EMERCOM" for participation in the devastating wildfires of 2010. The design of this Medal reminds me very much of the defensive campaign Medals of the Patriotic War with a horizon of combatants on the attack.

Do you know roughly how many of these were awarded?

I believe I saw the figure 45,500 somewhere and 50,000 elsewhere. The picture of this Medal used on wikipedia is a fake, so you have to be very careful already, as is the case with anything RF or wikipedia.
