Soviet Award Watches.
What were the rules for those watches? Was there a document for the watch?
When the custom of awarding the watches was stopped? (This was sold on ebay for $350.00) Another example - for sale on a well known site (requested price - $650.00)

The text says" To Comrade Zotov for active contribution to the construction of BAM. From Minister of Lines Of Communications of the USSR. 27th September 1985".

Here is a Poljot awarded to Colonel B. I. Karimov by the Commander of forces of the Turkestan Military District in March 1979.
This Poljot (Flight) is considerably smoother and quieter than the "Podeba" (Victory) brand. I'll put a strap on it soon.
