Medals "For Distinction In Military Service".
As the reward TO THE USSR, medal existed to the moment/torque of decomposing/decaying the Soviet Union in 1991.However, after the output/yield of the edict of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of Russian federation of 2 March, 1992.2424-1 O THE STATE REWARDS TO RUSSIAN FEDERATION, medal was revived as the reward TO THE RSFSR.
This comes from soviet mint There seems to be no diffrence in medal except possibly that it was fastened by a neadle instead of a screw.
