Badge "Druzhinnik".

I just got in a small box of a few interesting badges (to me at least) that I thought I'd share. Since most of these badges fit under this category, I figured I'd show them all here.

The first set is of a Georgian SSR "republican" Druzhinnik badge. It is the first of its kind I have seen. One day I will organize my Druzhinnik" badge and document collection and post a series on them. Until then...

Actually, the second set of photos is for the 25th anniversary of another republican Druzhinnik organization, a Baltic State - Latvia, I think (I have all three types of the ones they issued but no documents so I'm only 99% sure).

Point is, there are still many things out there for the collector who has one or more special interests outside of the norm (no pun intended, good sir;)).

Thought I'd jump in with a badge and doc set I came by awhile back. The badge itself has a mint mark I don't recognize and something scrawled across the back. I'm showing the doc cover next to the photo page. As this guy was on the "younger side of life" I've obscured his name and photo given the current anti-Soviet mood of the country.
