Tarasov, Sergej Vladimirovich, Senior Radio-Telegrapher, 13th Guards Rifle Corps
Here are Medals "For Bravery" #1150193 and #2169265.
They came undocumented and mis-ribboned on this later double suspension but they belong together.

Medal "For Bravery" Order #36/N of 16th May 1944. 2nd February 1945 in the region of the surrounding of Königsberg groups Comrade Tarasov, whilst in the immediate vicinity of the front line despite a hurricane of enemy artillery fire, maintained uninterrupted radio communications. 8th February 1945 in the settlement point of Medenau, Königsberg District, East Prussia, Comrade Tarasov performed combat orders in maintaining radio communications under heavy enemy artillery fire. When a fragment of enemy shell shrapnel damaged the antenna and created a danger of breaking radio communications Comade Tarasov despite the risk eliminated the damage and radio communications did not cease. Comrade Tarasov is worthy of the governmental award Medal "For Bravery". 72nd Separate Guards Battalion Of Communications Guards Captain Pimenov
