LSPR Award

Guys,

I need a bit of help here. I just picked up that interesting "thing", but I have no real idea what it is and where it is from (OK, I already know that it is NOT Soviet, Bulgarian, Mongolian, Chinese or North Korean).
Thanks for any help identifying it.

Marc

LSPR stands may be for Latvijas Socialistiska Padomju Republika, the short-lived soviet latvian republic (1918-19) ???

I like the idea of Latvijas Socialistiska Padomju Republika (LSPR) the most.

I'm more sure about the latvian origin, cogwheel, hammer and scythe are all on the coat-of-arms of the LSPR. But the datation is problematic, I found the order a bit too sophisticated and traditional for the 1918-19 period. I think that the LSPR was ressurected for a short time at the beginning of the soviet occupation in 1940, for me it's a better date for this design.

I found the comparison with the LSPR coat-of-arms quite convincing.
