Table Medal "60 Years Of The Soviet Union".

The attached scan is the same badge/pin that you have seen for 60 years in its original plastic (clear top) case. The badge comes with a table medal in Silver of about 2.5 inches diameter and about .125 - .1875 inches thick (1/8 - 3/16). Next I will attempt to post front and real of table medal, since you have already seen the wearing badge. Please note both are silver.

Cased 60 year medal

You have already seen the badge in silver with mint mark for 60 years of soviet power. That badge/medal measures 36 mm in length and 21 mm accross the wide points of the star.

In the case as awarded/presented to important folks was a table medal shown previously. That table medal shown as attachments here measures 75 mm in diameter and 6 mm thick. (right a quarter inch thick - in silver).

It is quite heavy. Don't drop it on your toes.

Separately, I will post the invite.

invitation to a 60th Anniversary party

Attached are scans of the invite outside/inside/text.

The blue mark in the upper corner is an accidental patch that overlapped when I scanned. I am not hiding anything. Promise!

A beautiful medal.

Do you know the material from which it is made?
