Short description of personal combat feat or accomplishment

Private Semen Tomovich Lyursmanoshvili has worked as the 31st RD HQ Senior Cook since October 1944 and prove himself an exceptionally conscientious and good-natured warrior in his service.

Comrade S.T. Lyursmanoshvili has been the senior cook working with only one other kitchen worker, supporting more than 200 personnel under any conditions, repeatedly subjected to heavy, enemy artillery and mortar fire and taking all necessary measures to provide the HQ personnel hot and satisfying food in a timely manner.

During the division’s offensive fighting near the Oder river despite heavy, enemy artillery fire and exploding shells peppering the mobile kitchen with shrapnel, Comrade Lyusmanoshvili did not abandon his post and delivered food in a timely manner.

For his selfless work Comrade Semen Tomovich Lyursmanoshvili is deserving of the Order of the Red Star.
