Yeah it looks ok. Just wear I think. If you want to feel very confident you can check the weight. This type of medal is not really being faked.

Here is the coup de grâce for Soviet award collecting for many.
A fake Veteran Of Labour.
I acquired this many years ago from a dealer who specialises in US awards (I also have a collection of US awards falling outside the sphere of this forum) and as I collect all nations' awards, I was offered a job lot of Soviet awards. The dealer believed them all to be fake (which they weren't) so I got the lot for under $5.
Within the lot were two fakes of what were thought to be unfaked Medals.
When I purchased the lot it was at a time that I could pick up 5 authentic cased Veteran Of Labours for $1 and the dealer informed me he had had them for years back then.

For the last couple of years this and the other fake have been living in a birdbath.

Can the Valiant labour in GPW be awarded with this document?

I believe they have been put together as the Medal has considerably more age to it. It may be a reissued document for a lost one?
I would certainly be interested in the Ukrainian document.

Its part of a group im looking at buying.

Would this have been issued with a completely different medal all together?

Unlikely issued together. The awards will be matched up with documents to inflate the price. In this case the two are not contemporaries.

Is the document rare enough to warrant buying anyway? For a reasonable price of course... whatever one of those is!

The paper itself is still from the Soviet era, while the stamp is Ukranian. The handwriting looks like of a 7th-grader :)

I'd personally pay £5 for the Medal with this document. Maybe £8 (delivered) if I'd had a few pints.

This is one of the cases where rarity isn't a sign of value because most people are very blinkered. Ukraine is not the USSR.
