Armor Vehicle Proficiency Badges
Hi guys
Someone could help me id this badge? I know the scan is not very good but I just have this one. I just saw this badge one time in a book and it says "Armored Specialist Badge"...any extra informationa and average price would be apreciated. Regards From Brazil. Cleber

I can't see the details too well, but it isn't tanks on each sides of the shield is it?

The Badge Arrived, But It´s Very Very Damaged, And The Enamel Is Repaired. At Least I Just Paid 3,00 Us$... Someone Have Pictures Of This Badge In A Real Uniform Or Any Extra Informations? Regards From Brazil Cleber

Here is the set I just bought. They are also pinbacks.
I was able to obtain a bit more information on this series of badges. They are Soviet and came out at the same time as the tank proficiency badges but were only in circulation for a few years and were replaced by the combined arms badges. This info courtesy of Othlichnik (Shawn).

Badge "Tank Specialist".
Hello,
in which time period were these tank classification badges awarded? I have one made out of brass with a needle system and one made out of a lighter metall with screwback system. Are there any fakes made from this badge? regards Andreas the older one |
