Best Policeman Badge

Recently found a pair of Best Policeman badges. The first is an F03 from the '60's, bronze and hot enamel, no nut. The second is an F04, probably from the '70's or '80's, light alloy and enamel, nut is probably not original.

Yet it is also sad to see how things have deteriorated into something more at home in "High Noon" (English-language legends and all) than in Mongolia.

(With some encouragement, I could begin another avalanche of examples, once the banks in the US re-open.)

That first badge is especially funny and depressing at the same time. It looks like a badge from a kid's "sheriff" set in a Toys-R-Us (if they still sell toy guns :rolleyes:).
