Re: What is this for kinda cap ?
Suvorov military school students would have that combo, but the crown looks huge like a generals cap...
I thought those caps were more modest. |

Re: What is this for kinda cap ?
Perhaps it is a mis-made cap?
A suvorov school mishap? Possibly? Not a bad thing though, I love it. |

Re: What is this for kinda cap ?
my first thought was suvorov too, but i dropped it because this one does not have white piping.
i guess it is from the earlier 90ties because of the crown size ya. any other ideas |

Re: What is this for kinda cap ?
Ah yes, white piping - I got to go and get glasses...
How about militia, where cocarde and chinstrap has been changed? |

Re: What is this for kinda cap ?
Hey, what if its prison guards?
The GDR had similar patterns for their prison hats, so maybe? And I thought the Militia had grey smoke caps with red piping/band not black? |

Re: What is this for kinda cap ?
Perhaps it is transitional militia/suvorov?
That would explain the high crown and the colours. |

Re: What is this for kinda cap ?
my first thoth was suvorov transitional too, but it hap pends to be that i have a suvorov form Russian make (199x) witch has the red band black top and white piping.
i had some other pictures made of the cap. it looks to me as a late soviet cap , maybe indeed transitional. |
