This is a Type 2, Variation 4. The ring is manufactured as part of the medal. Normally, there is no serial number present. I would expect to pay USD $10-$15 for one of these. If you want a more thorough explanation of ring types, do a forum search for "ring types" I know we've covered this before in a little better detail on the forum. I don't see any issue with authenticity. Art
