If I am not mistaken, the original recommendation was for a Red Star. . . nice set!

When you get a chance, please scan the Award Card. Interestingly, in the Order book his name is Valiko Sandrovich Gorgadze, on the citation Vladimir Aleksandrovich Gorgadze.

The Russification of his Georgian name was why finding the original citation without the record card an artistic pursuit with a flash of genius and a large dollop of luck.
