Polytsa, Aleksandr Leont'evich, Deputy, Kiev Region
Here is an extensive group to Ukrainian Deputy Aleksandr Leont'evich Polytsa (Александр Леонтьевич Полыца)/Oleksandr Leontijovich Politsja (Олександр Леонтійович Полиця)/Aleksandr Leontijad Polica (Russian/Ukrainian/Latvian).
Born 26th August 1929 in Vjatkovtsy, Podillja (now Vinnyts'ka Oblast), Educated in Riga, Latvian SSR and Kiev, Ukrainian SSR and serving the Communist Party Of Ukraine in Kiev. The documents cover the 1947-1993 period, post-war, cold war, De-Stalinisation, Perestroika, Glasnost and just when it seemed he was getting to the top, collapse. This man is somewhat a man after my own heart as he hoarded all his used documents and passes as well as having a rather large stamp collection as will present itself. Firstly we have his 10th February 1947 dated Latvian SSR Trade Union Of Workers Of River Transport Identification from when he was based in Riga.

Here is his 1950 dated DOSFLOT (Voluntary Society Of Assistance To The Navy) membership booklet. DOSFLOT was merged into DOSAAF in August 1951. Stamped with a Latvian stamp.

Re: Deputy Aleksandr Leont'evich Polytsa,Kiev Region.
Here is his 15th February 1951 dated diploma in maintaining marine internal combustion engines and supporting letter reading;
"Bearer of this Comrade Polytsa Aleksandr Leont'evich, In 1946 enrolled, in 1950 he graduated from the full course of the Riga River School, Ministry Of Internal Waterways USSR in the speciality maintaining marine internal combustion engines and the decision of state qualification commission of 3rd August 1950, he qualified as marine technician 3rd rank". I could do with a marine engineer seeing there is a marine engine in a thousand parts in the barn. I also have some Soviet marine engine parts laying around being that there is a seaport rather close.

Here is his 15th July 1957 dated diploma and supporting results from the Central Commission of the Communist Party of Latvia in Riga. His best results seem to be in 20th century Soviet history.

Here is his 4th February 1961 dated Stalins'kij Region Commitee Of The Communist Party Of Ukraine Card #8. Listing him as an instructor.
The name "Stalin" being used in the Ukraine in 1961 may seem a bit strange but the district was renamed "Soviet" during the period covered by the identification.
