Fake Restoration, Construction and Development Medals

Whats your opinion of my Medal for Restoration of the Black Metallurgical Enterprises? I bought it yesterday for a nice price. Its approximately 3,1mm thick and 32,2mm in diameter. My first reaction was that the ring wasn't in center above the hammer and sickle (back). And that the ring wasn't perfectly round.

Your help is appreciated!

Kievzor,

When you ask for help determinig authenticity, please post large, hi-res scans. On postage stamp size pictures, it is difficult to say much.
Anyway, I don't like the look of it, especially the reverse; feels like a cast fake. The ring is also not very appealing.

Kievzor,

I have to agree with Marc - most likely the medal is bad, but better pictures are needed.

Guys, what are you thoughts on this one? Sorry, the photo of the back is too large for my upload limit.

Kievzor,

I am sorry, but I need to see at least something like this. Also please compare the H&S on the reverse of this one with yours, especially the tip of the blade.

The overall "graininess" is concerning

I believe that's often associated with cast copies. NB's example and McDaniel/Schmitt show a smooth surface for this medal

But a good one - if you look on the details.

Yeap, it's bad, unfortunately, but the scans are great :)
