Here is the Badge "People's Volunteer Militia Leningrad 1941-1971". The "Volunteer Militia" (Ополчение) were not "Police" but more of a pre-planned volunteer civilian defence force similar to the British "Local Defence Volunteers" (Dad's Army). A rather expendable resource during the defence of Leningrad.

The Badge is light and comparable to other veteran Badges in quality.
