Short description of personal combat feat or accomplishment
Comrade Badyagina has worked in the 3 Rifle Regiment since 1942 and during this time has proven herself a bold, energetic, and motivated medical worker. Comrade Badyagina participated in the fighting at Dubovik, Binyagolov, and Smerdynya in combat under heavy enemy artillery and mortar fire at the battalion medical collection point, without hesitation she bound wounded soldiers’ and commanders’ wounds and evacuated them to the Regimental Medical Point for further evacuation to the rear areas. In the most recent fighting 10-12 February 1943, under similarly difficult conditions she provided first aid to approximately 400 soldiers and commanders and while at her post she was seriously wounded and evacuated to a hospital.
Comrade Badyagina is dedicated to the Party of Lenin-Stalin and the Socialist Motherland.
She is deserving of the Bravery Medal.
