Badge "50 Years Of Georgian Militia".

This one has all of the symbols of being a proper security/prosecutor's office badge, but my lack of ability to read Georgian prevents me from knowing for sure what anniversary is being celebrated here.

Any thoughts?

Phil, in that the Georgian republic stood up in '21/'22 the 50th anniversary would put that in the realm of the early '70s. My elementary knowledge of Georgian allows me to read it - "Georgian Militsiya (Police)."

Thank you kind sir. The seller said something about it being "USSR - Georgian SSR badge devoted to the 50th anniversary, 1921-1971, of the communist public security authorities in Georgia, part of the Soviet KGB."[spelling corrected]

I have my doubts and think it is just another attempt to slap "KGB" onto an item for better resale value...

However, I know the seller and can get it for a very reasonable price - if I know what it really is.;)
