Amazing uniform!
Reminds me of the Hunt for Red October! :D So cool.
I believe my Russian Fed. uniform is a medics tunic but I am missing the shoulder boards.

Major General of the Medical Service Walking-out Parade uniform.
The ribbon bar does seem to be at least 1" lower than it should be. But, I'm not sure I want to move it.

Meet Vasiley a Major General of the Medical Service. I still think that his ribbon bar needs to come up an inch but I don't want to screwup the uniform.

I agree with you, the ribbon bar is too low.

Agree as well, regulationwise and estethically it should be higher, maybe as much as two inches. From the "cut" in the collar, the top edge of the ribbon bar should be placed 7 centimetres down. But if the wearer and owner wore it this way, who are we as mere collectors to make changes?

Also, skip the belt; as it is a parade-walkout, the belt was not used :)

Apart from that - looks great! :thumbsup
