"For the successes achieved in the construction of Krivoy Rog (Kryvyi Rih) wool-spinning factories of the Ministry of Light Industry of the Ukrainian SSR, the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of USSR, by decree of 9 June 1977, awarded with orders and medals of USSR the most distinguished workers. 10 people were awarded with the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, 19 with the Order of the Badge of Honor, 11 with the Order of Labor Glory III Class, 10 with the medal For Valiant Labor and 10 with the medal for Distinguished Labor. The decree was published in the "Gazette of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR" and local press."

A bit more digging around has been done on this one!

The 70's were a pretty busy time for Kryvyi Rih

1971 The town is awarded with Order of Lenin
1974 Launch of blast furnace-9, the biggest in the world
1975 The town is awarded with Red Banner Labour Order
The plant "Remhormash" was founded
Northern Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise is awarded with the Labour Order of Czechoslovakian Rebublic
1976 Launch of the wool spinning-factory :)

The Factory closed in 1991, due to having no currency to pay for wool to be imported from Australia.

This is the Factory from the air (circled in red). Circled in blue is the nearby metro station ШПФ which closed in 1991 due to falling into dissuse after the factory closed down.

Sadly, it appears to have fallen into disrepair!
