Factory caps
Hello:
I am sorting my caps, and one of the details that I can not solve, is to identify the factory where these hats are manufactured. Getting these plants, your name and city? Thanks |

1."Ladoga", Leningrad (one of the biggest cap factories). This kind of label was used by the factory untill early 70's, but I don't know the exact dates
2.Factory in Omsk. 3.Poor pic, but this seagull indicates Odessa. However, this symbol was used in 60's and 70's, but I think that in 80's it was changed to something else. |

Thank you.
The third photo, of poor quality, may be in Odessa with another figure as you indicate. The cap is 1973. I enclose a picture of the factory in Odessa in 1979. If you can tell me the factories of these other caps, some of them quite frequently, but I am not clear what the factory. Thanks |

Yes, The first one is what I meant as "different symbol".
Second one: "Zarnitsa", Moscow (another big factory) Third one: Another big Moscow factory, but I must admit I don't know the full name and have no idea as to what this "43 CEPK" stands for. If I remember correctly, someone (I think Taz?) wanted to create guide to cap labels. Quite a good idea it would have been. |

Here's three other label cap. The second is also extremely common but in all caps, is quite faded.
The third has not shine and looks good. Create a guide to cap labels is very good. If I can help in any way, you can count on me. Regards, |

Well, I personally am not going to do that - I lack knowledge when it comes to the stamps on earlier caps. But who knows? Maybe this idea will show up again?
1."Mayak" factory. I am not sure as to where this factory was, but it is called "gorkovskoye", so maybe in the city of Gorki? Btw. Some late uniforms were made by "mayak" factory - I wande if it was the same? After all it is called tailor factory, not headwear factory. 2.Another from Moscow. Also "Zarnica". 3.??? No idea. I have never seen this one and it is hard to read what's written there. That shape in the upper part makes me think of a headwear factory in Kiev (thay had some astract symbol for quite some time), but I think something else is written there. Could You try to take a picture without flash? |

All-muell Thanks for your cooperation.
I have other labels but the flash or wear the cap prevents proper identification. Make new photos and send. Thanks again |

Here's two more cap label but are not very good.
Yes, I will make pictures without flash to the caps to send and try to identify them. I am following labels, but they are variants of which has already identified. Zarnitsa Moscow had two different labels? I like your curiosity!!!!:):):) Thanks |

Both of them are Moscow factories.
The second one is "Red Warrior" factory, so presume it's on m55 "Zukov style" cap? Even without looking at the caps themselves, I have to admit that this seems to be quite a collection... As for my curiosity - I am always eager to see something I haven't seen before. |
