Medal "Chief Designer P. A. Tjurin".

Chief Designer Petr Alekandrovich Tyurin (1917-2000) medal. Tyurin was the chief designer for KB Arsenal (1953-1981) in Leningrad, which specialized in the Soyuz 7K-LOK lunar spacecraft's orbital engine system and later EORSAT work. The Soyuz 7K-LOK was the Soviet counterpart to the American Apollo Command-Service Module, which was to be launched on the massive N-1 moon rocket. The big N-1 suffered 4 failures before the Soviet Union pulled the plug on the project.
