M55 parade AF - embriodery: common or unusual?

I have recently purchesed 2 m55 parade jackets. Belive it or not, but this are the first m55 jackets in my collector's career. But to the point: The air force tunic has it's insignia (collar and cuff) embrioded, not metal. Is this something unusual, or did all air force officers have embrioded insignia in that period?

I have seen another one with metal insignia, howeveer, they were most likely later replacement.

Al-muell,

That is an unusual, but nice feature. IMHO, it is probably one of the earlier produced uniforms. After that, they used standard metallic ornaments.
I once had a navy uniform that was embroidered.
All in all, unusual and scarce.

Hello All-muell,
Marc already answered you, but I thought I could also share that I have two M55 Parade uniforms: one air force captain and one tank troops colonel and they both have the metal insignia.

Many thanks to Both of You!
I also bought Armor (unfortunately requires collar emblems replacement - someone pinned infantry there) and AF, I just tought that the embrioded leaves are an indicator of "elite" status of the AF - just as velvet covered collar in armor troops.

--> Esteban: Yes, they are real nice. I paid a fortune but don't regret any cent (grosz?) spent on them...
