At the 104km bridge, the placement of heavy, 14-metre beams was finished twelve hours ahead of schedule. Despite all this, Gluhov’s squad worked two days without a break. At the 244km bridge, Sergeant Gluhov placed beams and used well-reasoned methods, thus shortening the project by completion sixteen hours ahead of schedule. At the bridge across the Dniepr, Sergeant Gluhov’s soldiers worked four days straight, finishing the placement two days ahead of schedule, completing their requirements by 800%. Comrade Gluhov’s bold and decisive actions in reconstruction have placed his squad in first place in the battalion. For initiative, energy, decisiveness during the accomplishment of State missions, Sergeant Gluhov is deserving of the Medal "For Bravery". Signed Commander, 30th Bridging Railway Battalion, Major Perov January 1944 Endorsed Brigade Commander Pirogov 18th January 1944 Awarded the Medal "For Bravery" by Order 09/N of the 47th Railway Brigade 20th January 1944. Unfortunately the citation does not state which Dniepr Railway Bridge was being worked on by Gluhov. I believe that there were 14 reconstructed or constructed during the war. I will have a read up on the 47th Railway Brigade to see if I can pinpoint the bridge in question.

The 47th Railway Brigade spent 11th December 1943 to 12th January 1944 bridging the Dniepr at Kremenchuk with a railway bridge 990 metres in length, replacing the bridge which was destroyed during the German advance in 1941. This looks to be the bridge in question.
The bridge was then "reconstructed" by a team of 3,000 labourers between 1947 and 1949 to look more like the original bridge, although bigger. Here is the current Krjukivs'kij Bridge that is 1.2km in length. No doubt following the railway eastwards will expose the other two bridges mentioned.

Re: For Bravery,0814693,Squad Leader,47th Railway Brigade,Bridging The Dniepr.
If we take Har'kov/Harkiv as point 0km, the bridge at 244kms would be this Railway Bridge over the Psel river between Scherbaki and Kijashki.
