Here is a cased set awarded to the same man Col. Constantin Mihai Corsei the 3rd class he received as a Major, the 2nd class when he was a Lt-Colonel and the 1st class his rank was Colonel. All have the document of issue which come in cases of their own. The 1st and 2nd class documents have the stamped signature of Nicolae Ceaucescu on them. The third class has the signature of the President before Ceaucescu.

Order of military merit of RPR III
What would be the value for the 3rd class Order of military Merit of RPR (not RSR)? I have been offered one, but it seems to be overpriced a bit.

A very late answer, I'm afraid... the 3rd Class Order of Military Merit, RPR is not one of your expensive orders. I just got this one, complete with case (earliest type) for 60 Ron- a little over $20 US. A very nice order, anyway.

Here is a 2nd Class Type 2 in its custom case.
Note there is no space in the case for a Ribbon Bar.
