Order "For Military Valour".

The Order "For Military Valour" (Орден «За Воинскую Доблесть») was founded on 20th September 2014.

The Order "For Military Valour" was established as an award for achievements in the defence of the Donetsk People's Republic in wartime and in peacetime, for ensuring national security. The Order "For Military Valour" is awarded:

To service personnel of the armed forces of the Donetsk People's Republic, the border guards of internal troops, employees of the Ministry Of State Security officers and privates and commanding staff of the organs of internal affairs, taking participation in combat operations;
Military units, connections and associations;
Civilians who have contributed to the victory of the armed forces of the Donetsk People's Republic;
Military Service Personnel and civilians of foreign countries.

The Order "For Military Valour" has three classes.

Awarding of the Order "For Military Valour" 3rd Class is made for:

For courage in battle and exemplary performance of special tasks of command;
For the destruction of heavy machinery (1-2 pieces) and manpower;
For the capture of an enemy officer.

Awarding of the Order "For Military Valour" 2nd Class is made for:

For personal courage and bravery and leadership fighting, contributing to the success of the Armed Forces;
For the destruction of armoured vehicles (2-3 pieces) and manpower;
For actions that contributed to the success of military operations;
For the detection of weak spots in the enemy defence by personal exploration;
For resourcefulness and daring in destroying an enemy firing point;
For the rescue of a commander threatened with immediate danger;
For the destruction of enemy artillery or mortars;
For organising the logistics of the provision units (including civilians);
For the breaking of encirclement of the unit without the loss of weapons.

Awarding of the Order "For Military Valour" 1st Class is made for:
For the destruction of armoured vehicles (3+ pieces) and manpower;
For the organisation and leadership of fighting, inspiring feats in the personnel of units;
For during battle with the superior forces and removal of personnel out of fire;
For rescue and rendering assistance to the wounded under heavy enemy fire continuously;
For the timely detection of the enemy and causing him great damage.

The Order "For Military Merit" can be assigned independently of Class. Worn on the right side of the chest in order of class.

Although this is a DNR award it has the name "Novorossija" in the design. After the collapse of the Confederation I'm sure there will be a redesign.

There is a lot of misinformation, confusion and a good bit of the "wild west" about the whole situation. Although the decree establishing the award and temporary certificates state "Order", permanent documents state "Chest Badge".

This is the First Class.
Quality is very similar to contemporary Russian Federation Ministry Of Internal Affairs Awards Badges - no maker marks at all of course.

Re: Order "For Military Valour".

A 3rd Class Novorossija period Document.

Novorossija Documents seem to have been used almost exclusively by the DPR although some were awarded by "Novorossija". I have yet to see a Novorossija Document awarded by the LPR.
