Soviet LtCol gimnasterka

Hi,
any opinions on this uniform (forget the wrong medals)? Which date/period could it be? Any idea about the value? Many thanks!!

very postwar...did you checkthe backs of the buttons for a 2 number date?

How long were such gimnastiorki in use?
I 2 such, both with buttons 61 dated.
The shoulderboards are a little different from "standard" shirt ones (attachement stripe is wider in normal shirt shoulderboards)

The M43 gymnastiroka was used until 1969. In fact until the M69 uniforms came into widespread use in 1970. Most for sale date from the very late 1960s. The best clues are buttons (date on rear), material (unfortunately you really need to handle earlier ones to understand the difference it is hard to describe) and the boards.

I'd bet today's lunch money that this one is a 1969 era one with badges and boards thrown on within the last week.
