generals parade cap

its a very late soviet ( note the super high peak, like a Bolivian General) generals parade cap. Its either unissued ( note the lack of size stamping) or is a "parts" hat made to sell to tourists. Not much in the way of value; $70 or so.

The fact that the leather chinstrap is so light definately says that the cap is unissued. If it was issued it would be a much darker shade of brown. The embroidery looks ok (if a little strange to me due to the light colouring of the chinstrap). The embroidery is always a giveaway on fake caps.
You should check the date on the buttons at the side, which although not 100% accurate they are a good indication of when a cap was manufactured.
