Interesting awards habit;
Yesterday, when I watched the news, I saw this veteran being awarded Order of Kim Jong Il.

It looks to me that the awardee was not the "veteran" but the unit (the "veteran" is most likely this unit commander). The new award then joined the ones that this unit had previously won. Marc |

Trust me, this kind doesn't exist in Norway.
The whole army here is terribly organized, and quite messed up... Here, they barely get any awards, just small cheapy medals of struck silver. The highest ranked General barely has 7 awards, 5 of them are NATO medals which you can buy for 10 USD at the national version of epay... Quite tragic this army is. |
