Father – Antonov, Ivan Antonovich Short description of personal combat feat or accomplishment While operating in the attack group in a raid on the night of 17.11.43 near South Sitino, Sergeant Antonov killed two Germans with his submachinegun and was the first to charge into an enemy trench, thus ensuring the capture of a prisoner for interrogation who provided much information. He is deserving of the Order of Glory III Class.
