Making your collection permanent
So there we were, in a japanese resturant in Little Rock, and someone makes the bold statement about collections: "You can't take it with you". Seeing a challenge, I decided to make them wrong. Now before some smart aleck (you know who you are) points out the the 1924 regulations said this was supposed to be 8cm above the elbow I have to note that my place of work has a "no exposed tat" rule for it's docs and sometimes I wear short sleeve scrubs and had to place it high enough on the shoulder so that there would not be a chance of a "peek a boo".

I'm not a "tat" man - but I like the concept. Did the rednecks (assumption) shut up after you showed them?

No hammer and sickle to offend those that think the US is still fighting the "soviet union". (A lot of those here in Texas) Easily recognizable to a soviet cloth collector but few others. I wouldn't wear a muscle shirt to the next gun show just in case.
