A group to a female collective farmer, a dairymaid. Sadly, additional research is not yet possible (I guess?).

I would LOVE to see more.
A non-military group which is that compleate is not an every day's sight...

I think that is far from complete. Ususally, HSL received other work-realted distinctions: medals (TO, DT), orders (OBH, ORBL). For someone to receive "just" the Hero title would be excessively unusual.

Wonderful. I love these hands-on civil awardings, HSL and Lenin to food workers, dairymaids, tobacco farmers, concrete manufacturers etc.

Thanks for corrections on her Romanized name. I had my colleague, who is a specialist in Russian/Soviet history, do it for me.

I, too, love these civil awards. I just wish they were easier to research.

Me too!
But I see on Alexei's website that he offers research on (some) civil awards.

Also, while digging on the online archives for military awards, I saw lot of civilian names in a decree (Ukaz from Presidium of Supreme Soviet of USSR, not a Prikaz) that contained many military awards as well. I was surprised to see citations for civilian people. I guess since they were war-time awards they were made more easily researchable through archives.

With some civil awards (more the older GPW-and-before than later awards), research is possible.

Get the decree with usually has a one-line identification -- who they are, where they're from. (Which is much better than knowing nothing!)

And then you can check newspapers from their home area around the date of the award and sometimes you find more, sometimes much more.

I have a few researched groups and singles that I'll post.
