I did not know this before.
There are two variations of Umalatove medal "55 Years Victory in WW2"
One is with Nazi Emblem on the medal (flag), and another one is without.

Isn't there a law in Germany against sale of items with swastika on? SO, if the Russians are now capitalists, and want to sell to their neighbors then they need to make a medal that the enemy could legally buy in their own country. The swastikas will all stay home in Russia or have to come to the US, via an alternate route excluding Germany.

I got these two within the last few weeks; the first medals I've bought in about a year.
Generally off-topic here I guess so avert your eyes if un-Soviet stuff offends you. :)
I just like the idea of continuing the line of GPW anniversary awards so I buy 'em. And, if 'they' keep this up I'll still have new things to buy 30 years down the road. :rolleyes: Plus, they have GPW themes (duh) and the one has an OG on it. :p
Anyway, here's the medals for the 55th and 65th anniversary.

I shall link here to my whole display once I've created that post.
