Comrade Besedin, as a fighter of the Commandant's Section of the 3rd Department of the NKGB, service for the guard of state criminals carries good faith. In front conditions and during a massive raid of enemy aviation Comrade Besedin risked his life staying at his post, providing guard of state criminals.
13th May 1943 in the town of Kropotkin, during a massive raid of enemy aviation, Comrade Besedin together with the commander of the section, showed courage localising a fire in the detention facility, arising from a dropped incendiary bomb, thereby ensuring the safety of secret documents of the section and the guard of the detainees.
