Short description of personal combat feat or accomplishment
Comrade Saksta has worked in the division since its formation and is a participant of the division’s fighting on the Western and North Western Front, as well as presently in the destruction of the 16 German Army.
She is disciplined, steadfast, dedicated to the Lenin-Stalin Party, and serves as an example as a woman-patriot to her Motherland. She was among the first women of the division’s HQ to donate to the division’s tank drive, giving a most valuable momento – a golden ring. Working during any combat conditions from aerial bombing to artillery shelling, she has proven herself a bold, composed, and accomplished in the political section’s combat assignments.
Comrade Saksta is fully deserving of the Combat Service Medal.
Signed 201 Latvian Rifle Corps Political Section Battalion Commissar Krumin on 3 September 1942
Endorsed 201 Latvian Rifle Division Commander General-Major Veikin and Regimental Commissar Zuris on 3 September 1942
Awarded the Combat Service Medal by 11 Army Order 0196 dated 7 September 1942, verified by Army Chief of Personnel Colonel (?) on 9 September 1942
