I would solicit additional thoughts/insights of my colleagues regarding this Excellent Socialist School Competition Badge for the Forestry or Logging Industry. It is serial numbered 4763 and awarded by the People's Commissariat of the USSR. . .

I would say 4.763 because the startetd to engrave the line from the buttom to the top. So I think the letter is a six.

And its interesting Flat revers variation BTW
after 1 type (silver) and pre 3 type (cavo-rilievo)

Nice piece! It shows nice traces of wear everywhere, enamels colors are nice, real soviet craft...
