An interesting series of pictures showing the preparation of uniforms for the upcoming parade.

Nice pictures and a head nod to classic Soviet, er Russian, uniform manufacturing, but this all seems pretty wasteful to me...

A bit odd on picture 5...soviet marshal epaulets yet with a russian federation arm patch. Reinforces the concept that there is little uniform about russian/soviet uniforms

Agree. I find it interesting also that the shoulder board has black base, or at least it looks so.

Looking at pic 8, it looks like they're preparing a parade for hotel bellboys.

I thought exactly the same thing.
I presume that the uniform was made for a former MSU.

Thought I would try to post the photo here in case the link goes bad at some future point.

Black background does look pretty baddass compared the "official" olive drab.
