Question regarding groups

While there is a "Fakes" sub-thread on documented groups, there is no such thread for good groups.

Odd. Is this intentional?

Most of what I have are groups and I don't klnow where to put therm. I am not a "type collector", I am a group/history/rersearch collector.

Have I missed the proper sub-forum somehow?

If you look under "The Researcher's Corner" towards the top there is a sticky titled "Soviet Award Groups" whose purpose is:
This thread has been created for members to show off the award groups in their collection. Please be considerate when posting photos - please make them within forum size regulations so they can be easily downloaded by slower modem connections. With that said... Post away!

I don't believe it is intentional but rather an oversight as the forum has developed. The majority of members who want to show a group place it in the Sticky Thread http://www.soviet-awards.com/forum/s...rd-groups.html

As far as creating another sub section just for groups I believe Art will chime in on that. With groups and individual pieces of groups spread throughout the forum it may be unlikely that such a sub section will be created.

OK, thanks. Somehow I'd missed that. :

Most groups elsewhere (= NOT ON THIS FORUM), but in many pages. If I can concoct abberviated versions, may put some things up here.

Actually I assumed that the majority of the groups would be authentic, thus posted within the section most appropriate, titles, medals, orders, etc.

In retrospect, I probably shoulda/coulda thought that out a little more thoroughly. The groups are posted across the forum like grains of sand on the beach and would take light years to organize now.
