Grey Marshal
I got to visit some of my old "boys" yesterday when I went to a friend / clients house. I took this nice shot that shows a holiday dress uniform of a named Marshal. Its a grey M1943 that was used in 1944/45 and the grey full parade dress cap. A combo like this was not regulation, but done anyway for a more formal look than would be gotten just with a grey M1940 cap. marshals could do what they wanted!
Doug ps-above him is a full parade marshal USSSR M1943; back left corner is Kuznetsovs M1945!! |
