m40 branch colours
Hello,
I enjoy collecting M40 generals tunics and currently have three branch colored tunics in my collection. I tend to enjoy collecting sets and I was asking Doug (our great forum moderator) how many different piping colors' were made in the m40 style tunics. The list he sent to me listed six colors he is aware of. Those six are listed below. red>rifles black>tank/artillery light blue>air force magenta>engineering/tech. royal blue>NKVD (had one once) green>NKVD border troops ( not yet seen by me) Does anyone know of any additional piping colors from th m40 era? Does anyone have any pictures of a border guards and/or NKVD piped M40 generals tunics. If you have any pictures of either of these two colors or any other colors I would appreciate you posting them. I did a search on the forum and did not see anything posted. Thank you. Clete
